Computational Chemistry
Computational Chemists
(Location: Beijing)
Responsibilities:
- Design, identify and optimize small molecule inhibitors on a team of medicinal chemists, biochemists and biologists
- Initiate virtual screening using ligand- and structure-based computational approaches
- Develop QSAR model for data analysis
- Evaluate and apply new computational methods
Requirements:
- Ph.D. or equivalent in chemistry or computational chemistry
- Experience in using commercial modeling software (Schrodinger, MOE, Accelrys)
- Experience in scripting or programming
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Discovery Biology
Molecular Cell Biologists
(Location: Beijing)
We are looking for scientists (Ph.D., M.S. or B.S. level) with molecular cell biology experience in one or several of the following areas:
- Mammalian cell signal transduction
- Regulation of cell growth and differentiation
- Immune cell function and regulation
- Cellular receptor biology, including cytokine receptors, GPCRs, NHRs or ion channels
- Cancer, inflammation or metabolic diseases
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out molecular and cellular research in cancer, inflammation and metabolic diseases.
Requirements:
- M.S or Ph.D. in biological science, e.g., molecular cell biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, developmental biology
- Experienced in basic molecular biology and cell biology laboratory techniques, e.g., cloning, PCR, tissue culture, Western blot, ELISA, cell proliferation or reporter gene assay
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese, including reading, writing, comprehension and speaking
- Experience in XLfit data analysis is a plus

Biochemists
(Location: Beijing)
We are seeking scientists to join the biochemistry group to support drug discovery efforts for various therapeutic targets. The primary responsibilities are to develop, optimize, validate and execute biochemical assays to support small molecule drug discovery projects, including assay development, automation and running of screening assays, and characterization of small molecule leads in support of structure activity relationship studies.
Requirements:
- M.S. degree in biochemistry or molecular biology with up to five years of experience in drug discovery
- Expertise in enzyme assays (TR-FRET, FP, SPA, filter-binding assay, fluorescence) and mechanistic biochemistry techniques
- Experienced in assay development and trouble shooting
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Good teamwork spirit
Protein Biologists
(Location: Beijing)
The successful candidates will be responsible for recombinant protein expression (E. coli, insect and mammalian expression systems), purification and characterization.
Requirements:
- M.S. degree in biochemistry, cell biology or a related field
- Experienced in PCR, cloning, transfection and Western analysis
- More than two years of hand-on experience in protein expression using E. coli, insect and mammalian cells
- Experienced in different expression systems, including suspension culture of insect and mammalian cells
- More than two years of hand-on experience in protein purification using AKTA
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese, including reading, writing, comprehension and speaking

Pharmacology
Pharmacologists
(Location: Beijing)
We are looking for scientists who have experience working with animal models of diseases in one or several of the following areas:
- Inflammation (rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis)
- Respiratory diseases (e.g., asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis)
- Vascular diseases (atherosclerosis, restinosis)
- Cancer (solid tumors and leukemia)
- Metabolic diseases (obesity, diabetes, dyslipidemia)
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out in vivo pharmacological research in cancer, inflammation, respiratory, vascular and metabolic diseases.
Requirements:
- M.S. in a biological science field (molecular cell biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, veterinary biology, etc.)
- Animal handling experience including drug administration, diseases’ symptoms observation and tests, tissues and blood sampling, and surgical procedures
- Lifelong passion for discovery research in innovative medicine

DMPK
Bioanalytical Scientists
(Location: Beijing)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct sample analysis for PK samples and other ADME samples using LC/MS/MS method development
- Learn and conduct in vitro ADME assays
- Perform PK parameter calculation using WinNonlin software and write study reports
- Peer review other scientists’ data
Requirements:
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in chemistry, pharmaceutical science or pharmacology
Scientists in Animal Study
(Location: Beijing)
Responsibilities:
- Help study director/group leader in designing animal protocols and carrying out in vivo experiments related to drug absorption, distribution and clearance processes in experimental animals
- Work with other colleagues to finish DPMK projects including such techniques as catheterization, sampling of tissues and fluids including blood, plasma, urine and CSF
- Prepare and write forms, study records, documents
- Develop new experiment methods according to client requirements
Requirements:
- B.S./M.S. in biology, medicine, animal sciences related areas
- Hands-on animal handling experience and surgical skills, especially with rodent animals
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English, especially reading and written English
- A good team player to interact effectively with others on project teams
- Compliance with SOP, protocol and IACUC regulations
