Senior Director/Director/Associate Director of Medicinal Chemistry
(Location: Beijing)
Key activities: Assess projects, allocate resources, recruit new team members, take care of employees’ professional development, provide comprehensive project updates and exceed customers’ expectations.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry with a strong scientific track record
- More than eight years of drug discovery experience (experience in the U.S. or EU preferred)
- Successful track record in synthetic and/or medicinal chemistry
- Ability to operate within aggressive timelines
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical R&D process
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage a fast-growing business

Group Leader of Chemistry
Key activities: Synthetic chemistry design and development, project management, performance evaluation and project status updates.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry with a strong scientific track record
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Successful track record in synthetic and/or medicinal chemistry
- Ability to operate within aggressive timelines
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical R&D process
- Hands-on operational manager

Director of Computational Chemistry
(Location: Beijing)
Key activities: Support medicinal chemistry programs via computational tools. Direct the design, development, implementation and maintenance of informatics solutions and overall research computing capabilities, which are directly aligned with the priorities of the research and development organization.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in computational chemistry, computer science or a related field
- At least eight years of industry experience in supporting pharmaceutical drug discovery/development
- Significant experience and a proven track record in computer-aided drug design (CADD) and ability to design software systems to support R&D
- Understanding of biology, chemistry, pharmacology or clinical sciences required to work credibly with discovery scientists
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as polished and persuasive presentation skills
Senior Director/Director of Process Chemistry
(Location: Beijing)
Key activities: Chemical process development, scale-up, tech transfer, contract manufacturer management, and quality program management for the supply of bulk intermediates and products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing support and management to ongoing research projects and management of regulatory filings.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in organic chemistry with more than eight years of experience in process chemistry
- Significant experience in process research
- Experience in cGMP and non-GMP manufacturing; knowledge of U.S. FDA regulations
- Experience in evaluating the technical and economic feasibility to transfer lab chemistries to manufacturing
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as supervisory experience
Senior Scientist I/Senior Scientist II
(Location: Beijing)
Key activities: Lead chemistry projects as a key member of the high-performance chemistry team in BioDuro's R&D center in Beijing, China. Key activities include process chemistry development, synthesis of customer deliverables and comprehensive project documentation
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in chemistry with a strong scientific track record
- At least one year of relevant industry experience
- Successful track record in synthetic and medicinal chemistry

Key activities: This position will be responsible for contributing to chemistry projects as a member of the high-performance chemistry team in BioDuro's R&D center in Beijing, China. Key activities include process chemistry development, synthesis of intermediates, comprehensive scientific documentation and exceeding customer expectations.

Associate Scientist/Scientist I

Key activities: This position will be responsible for contributing to chemistry projects and assisting with the operation and maintenance of a R&D laboratory as a member of the high-performance chemistry team in BioDuro's R&D center in Beijing, China. Key activities include preparation of lab standards, synthesis of intermediates, comprehensive scientific documentation, instrumentation maintenance and compound purification.
Requirements:
- B.S. in chemistry with research experience
