Current Positions:
Senior Facility Manager
(Location: Beijing)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all site buildings/infrastructures/facility equipment (air conditioning system, electrical and electric, water system, fire protection system, power supply system, etc.)
- Plan and execute facility project implementation for new site
- Work with the EH&S department to ensure all environmental, health, safety and security issues at the site are resolved. Also make sure the site is in compliance with local government regulations and company’s regulations as well as policies and procedures
- Develop effective preventative maintenance programs for all facility equipment while balancing costs and risk of failure
- Select, hire, train and retain all personnel related to facility management and build up the team
- Help facility technician and electrician to develop their competencies; provide timely and accurate feedback and support as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering or an HVAC/EHS certificate
- At least three years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment (at a company with at least 300 employees) with at least three years in a management role
- Experience with new facility setup project a plus
- Self-driven and able to quickly response to any emergencies
- Good command of oral and written English
- Strong team player with good communication skills and leadership ability
- Good computer skills
Facility Engineer/Facility Project Supervisor
(Location: Beijing)
Responsibilities:
- Determine the needs, requirements and constraints of the business unit
- Manage the predesign, design, construction and completion stages of a project
- Manage the tendering process
- Achieve project competition within time and budget
- Provide a clear plan for the project by setting objectives, planning and budgeting to achieve these goals
- Establish working procedures within each project
- Monitor and report on programs of various projects to measure performance compared to programs and budgets, and take corrective action, if needed
- Attend technical meetings with high-level management team if necessary and provide technical support and information to the attendees
- Follow up on projects
- Look for new innovation, contractors and suppliers in order to reach high-quality standards
- Use appropriate project management tools for reporting
Requirements:
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant property-related discipline or a related field, or a combination of formal education and work experience in excess of three years, one of which must be related to all aspects of design, construction and project management
- Have ability to develop good relationship with BU
- Prepare design briefs
- Produce feasibility studies if required
- Understand the legal environment for each project
- Carry out commercial negotiations with contractors, consultants and authorities
- Knowledge on construction, and health/safety government regulations in China required
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Project, Auto CAD, etc.)
- Perform other duties assigned
EHS Engineer
(Location: Beijing)
Responsibilities:
- Make routine inspections of labs
- Record possible violations by group and make education on site
- Collect statistic data for inspections, analyze it and prepare weekly reports for all directors
- Check the fire protection system, first-aid box and emergency shower and assure all of these facilities are running appropriately
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor’s degree
- Solid knowledge of chemistry; lab experience preferred
- Good knowledge of lab security
- Good written English skills
- Good communication skills
- A team player
